Disqus provides you with a better way of attracting blog readers to start thread conversations in blog posts. It enables the post to be more interactive and manageable and it presents blog comments in a nicer, web 2.0ish way.

Am I a bit Stupid or totally? I visited Disqus website, visites related websites, gathering information and.... I still cannot undertand a word, what is Disqus and where can I see it live???

For a blogger account, adding disqus makes it so much easier to comment. Blogger commenting system is horrible imo!

My personnal blog is on Blogger and I have to admit too that Disqus really changed everything.

its a great service... but i think that the preferences should allow the user to keep it "really" simple, if they want.

Yes, Disqus is really cool. As you said they execute well and fast, and that's the most important thing in a startup.

Plus they have Seesmic, so two cool startups combined! Great stuff.
