This is also a great way for new adopters of Twitter to remain on the service, since it will be right there beside Facebook.

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

Sure, if you have a Mac, and want to pay to use social apps! Have to admit other than those two problems EventBox does look nice tho, altho a lil bulky for my tastes.

Having said that, Twhirl/Seesmic has me with brand loyalty :P If Seesmic shapes up to be as good as promised I can't see me choosing anything else!

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

I agree! What is the gripe with AIR apps? It is develope once deploy everywhere! Developing on many platforms is a curse. Thwirl started with AIR, and I understand why you continue to develop on AIR, but what about developing a native app for each operating system? It would give you the option to develop applications for Mac, Windows and Linux machines, and still keep the amazing features. Just some thoughts :)

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

thanks Daniel, explain how you would like it fixed

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

Loic - I'm sorry, but until Seesmic Desktop and other AIR powered app fix their UI, I can't use them. I rather keep the UI nice then pack the app with features. I think the integration is great, but until it's fixed, I can't use it.

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

That's great, the more I use SD the more I like it and the more hooked I get. As of now I'm using the Twitter application on Facebook, but that stupidly imports RT's as well, which I then have to manually delete.

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

thank you all, we're day and night on it! you will get it soon.

Re: Seesmic Desktop Announces Full Facebook Open Stream API Support

I agree on a smaller version, but also PLEASE let me put the update area on the bottom like Twhirl (or tens of other clients).
