Loic Le Meur: Twhirl is raising funds at a $4.2 million valuation

  • Daniel R · 1 year ago
    Loic,

Obviously, I find it very risky to base a business model on being an "add-on" for another business that has yet to even really establish a monetization model. I'm curious what thoughts you have about Twirl regarding possible future growth outside of as being an "add-on" tool for Twitter.

    Thanks

    Daniel, I am joking....

We discussed it internally and our partner focussing on companies building medical devices, isn't sure if Adobe will survive the next crash. Otherwise, we find your business model very interesting, but would like to see a bit more traction.

Loic, I think it was a funny joke.

    Lol
Nice to see the humour in this post, now if I could calculate my total tweets per month as a factor of total overall tweets, maybe I could raise some funds on my username.
    its @patphelan by the way

"Our business model? We will find out but trust me it will be huge."

    Hilarious!

Loic - send me an email babe - my fund is totally into Twhirl and would love to fund you - I am thinking initially $5 million on a $100 million valuation. When I entered your other investor into the app I use for funding, that raised a red flag but we can still do it for you and your smile. Shoot me an email and I can get the papers over to you straight away.

I am not sure it has to be a joke, Loic. The concept of an Air-based aggregator is very valuable.

Allen thanks let's do it. Chris, no joke then. We will actually invest a lot in Twhirl!

I'm looking for funding for Twetter. It's Twitter meets Letter. Updates by mail. Monetized by sales of prepaid envelopes.
